you will find a list
of dates and places where we will meet throughout the SUMMER
2009 Training Season. It is very important that you meet with
us on a regular basis in order to see the results you think you want.
We test and train, then test again. I want to be able to always answer
your questions. If I don’t have an answer right away, I will get
it for you. My goal is to help you accomplish yours while accomplishing
mine. I want you to recognize your weaknesses, so you can make them
your strengths. And I want to make your strengths even stronger. I want
us both to have FUN! Every Tuesday is a key workout, see places of interest below. Our training philosophy is based on Periodization. Come learn about training overload and proper progression. We will formulate the correct progression for your running GOALS.. 04/09/2009 Rotary Park, Merritt Island, 5:30 PM, Tempo Run with the Up & Running Racing Team. 04/14/2009 Oars (that's for you Howard) and Paddles, 5:30 PM, Warm-up, Stretch, Striders, 50 Min.Fartlek workout, Cool-down, Stretch. 04/16/2009 Rotary Park, Merritt Island, 5:30 PM, Tempo Run with the Up & Running Racing Team. 04/21/2009 192 Cswy, Front Street Park, 5:30 PM, Hill Repeats, Warm-up, Stretch, Striders, 400 meter repeats at your 5K GP, with easy jog down. The total repeat mileage should be 10% of your weekly mileage. Cool-down stretch. 04/23/2009 Eagles Nest, Cocoa Beach, 5:30 PM, Run with the Up & Running Racing Team. 04/28/2009 Hoover Middle School, 5:30 PM, Ladder Work. Warm-up, Stretch, Striders, 100 Meter, 200 Meter, 300 Meter, 400 Meter, 500 Meter, 600 Meter, 500 Meter, 400 Meter, 300 Meter, 200 Meter, 100 Meter all at you 5K GP. Your recovery is half the time on you clock that it took you to do the distance. (You ran a 200 Meter at 50 seconds, your recovery is a 25 second active recovery) 04/30/2009 Oars and Paddles, 5:30 PM, Tempo Run with the Up & Running Racing Team.
